Come build, Get fit and Conquer.
The idea of Munro College's Fitness Institute was born out of a desire to introduce programmes and initiatives that would encourage sporting excellence. Therefore, the establishment of a physical Centre will allow our gentlemen to benefit immensely from professional fitness, mentorship and grooming, which is expected to deliver great results in their performance for years to come.
Munro College is a hallmark of excellence, producing pioneers and leaders who have and continue to make significant contributions globally. However, in recent years, to complement its superior academic history, Munro is intent on fueling that dominance and excellence it once enjoyed decades ago in areas such as Football and Track and Field. Our last touch of the Boys and Girls Championship trophy was in 1948. The Dacosta Cup has not returned to us since 1964 and the Headley Cup was the last to be placed in our trophy cabinets in 1974. Notwithstanding, Munro College has still produced athletes of immense pedigree in recent years, including Track and Field stars, Delano Williams and Senoj-Jay Givans, both athletes of tremendous promise.
Undoubtedly, our Fitness Institute will see the return of the Navy and Gold Champions from the city on a hill through proper attention, conditioning and nurturing, which will aid in the development of our young sportsmen.
