Hurricane Melissa Recovery Efforts in Jamaica
Everyone needs a helping hand in times of need.
Everyone needs a helping hand in times of need.
Hurricane Melissa, a powerful category five storm, is the worst storm in the country’s history. It had an even more devastating impact than Hurricane Charlie (1951) and Hurricane Gilbert (1988), which were two of Jamaica’s most catastrophic hurricanes. Melissa caused extensive damage to the western and central sections of the island, demolishing buildings, including historic sites, and resulting in the death of several persons.

HERE’S HOW YOU CAN HELP:
The JN Group has an established fund, managed by the JN Foundation, to facilitate donations to help Jamaicans most affected by disasters such as Hurricane Melissa. We invite you to give today to provide much-needed relief to the victims of Hurricane Melissa. Help them rebuild their homes, their lives, and their businesses.
Your contribution will assist the most vulnerable in children’s homes, early childhood institutions, homes for the elderly or persons with disabilities, and healthcare facilities, as well as registered community groups operating in the worst-affected areas.
This is how your funds will be allocated:
Hurricane Melissa has devastated communities across Jamaica, leaving families without homes, food, and basic necessities. Your donation will help provide urgent relief and support the rebuilding of lives and communities.
